To begin a career being hand picked by Sir Paul McCartney to perform for and share the stage wit him at his own private party was not a bad start for Ayala! Now a few years on, she has her own TV show, her album out, her debut on BBC Radio 2 with the BBC Concert Orchestra, and some impressive collaborations.  It is an exciting year as an artist, a presenter and a songwriter.

Ayala’s Debut album ‘This Year’ was released 9/12/15. Produced between LA and London by Fabio BOI Angelini (Pink), Juan Luis Ayala (Gabrielle), and Troy Miller (Amy Winehouse, Laura Mvula). It is a beautiful blend of British alt-pop with folk, blues & jazz influences as well as touches of the more exotic Mexican/Latin & ‘Wild Wild West’ flavours.

2014 saw Ayala have a top 5 club hit in the UK with ‘The Sun Has Come’ remixed by Joey Negro (Mariah Carey, Diana Ross). It was a double A side with a remix of On My Way by Cahill reaching the top 10 in the (Music Week) pop club charts.

2015 included the release of Ayala’s own live music TV show The Ayala Show on the SKY network with Ayala’s successful debut as a TV presenter. Guests have included multi platinum selling Gilbert O’Sullivan, Mercury Prize nominee Eska, X-Factor finalist Paije Richardson, Latin Superstars Noel Schajris and Horacio Palencia, Grammy Award winning The Swingle Singers, and MANY more!  Ayala co-produces and presents The Ayala Show under her own TV Production company Mind Motion Media which was launched along with business partners (brother Finnian and husband Juan) in September 2015.

2016 has seen the launch of Series Two of The Ayala Show on IRISH TV (SKY) for Ayala as a TV Presenter & Producer, but it has also been ‘the year of the collaboration’ for Ayala as an artist!

A duet with Gilbert O’Sullivan and Ayala came out earlier this year on Gilbert’s new album ‘Latin ala G’ The song is called I Guess I’ll Always Love You which lead to Ayala’s BBC Radio 2 debut performing the duet live with The BBC Concert Orchestra in February 2016.

Another duet with the Latin supergroup Los Angeles Negros was recorded in Mexico in June 2016 as well as a live video recording and is due for release on their new album later this year.

Ayala has plans to release her next album later this year which will include a track featuring Mexican traditional ‘banda’ music star Horacio Palencia.  The concept for the new album is a Latin – British fusion of sounds.  Ayala has been spending time in Mexico to write, research and record for this album.  Live acoustic performances of 2 songs written for the new album can be seen on the videos page. (Not Leaving Without You and ballad Hold Onto You.  The first single for the album will be a defiant pop anthem entitled Never Give Up.
